Abstract Submission

(NOTE: Deadline for abstract submission is May 20, 2005 !)

To submit an abstract please use the template: template_Calix2005.rtf (RTF file, 11kb)

Please submit your abstract electronically by sending it as attached document to calix2005@vscht.cz

Please include following data in your e-mail:
  1. Name and address (postal and e-mail) of the person with whom the conference secretariat should correspond (this is usually, but not necessarily, the presenting author),
  2. The title of your paper.
Please try to restrict the length of your abstract as follows:
  • 1 page for posters
  • 4 pages (or less) for key-note lectures (25+5min)
  • 8 pages (or less) for plenary lectures (50+10min)
The organizers will confirm that your abstract has arrived safely (by e-mail).

To be sure that all characters will be reproduced correctly, it would be helpful for organizers to obtain also optional hard-copy of your abstract by mail or fax.

If you are not using template provided above, please pay attention to format of CALIX 2005 abstract defined below:

Please prepare your abstract in electronic form as a word processor file, preferably Microsoft Word Format:
  • Page size A4 (210 x 297 mm)
  • Borders 2.5 cm each
  • Font: Arial
  • Line spacing 1.5
  • Title line: 14 pt, bold centered
  • Authors and affiliations: 12 pt, centered, presenting author underlined
  • Body text: 12 pt
  • Subheadings: 12 pt, bold
Deadline for submission of abstracts is May 20, 2005.
