Calix 2005

SPECIAL ISSUE of "Supramolecular Chemistry"

Invitation

I am very pleased to announce that the journal Supramolecular Chemistry will provide financial sponsorship for the Calixarene conference. Furthermore, the journal has agreed to devote a special issue to the meeting. You are cordially invited to submit a paper for this special issue. To ensure timely and rapid publication there are a number of strict conditions concerning submission. The papers should represent either a communication of results presented at the conference, or a short review of your lecture topic. The strict deadline for submission of the manuscripts is July 25, 2005. I want to strongly emphasize that the manuscript submission deadline of July 25, 2005 is inflexible, and if you are uncertain about meeting this deadline then it is probably best to not accept this invitation. As you likely know, Supramolecular Chemistry was founded by George Gokel and Jerry Atwood, and the current editors, Jonathan Sessler and Philip Gale, are working to build on their significant legacy. The journal is under new company management and has provided important financial sponsorship for Calixarenes 2005. I urge you to seriously consider contributing a paper to this special issue, which is sure to be widely read and cited as the written summary of what we hope will be the best-ever calixarene meeting.
